Frequently Asked Questions
Can I visit the boarding service in advance? Does it require a reservation?
We are happy to welcome visitors at a pre-arranged time. A tour does not require a reservation.
Can I bring a puppy for daycare?
A puppy can be brought for daycare after it has received booster vaccinations (3 vaccinations, rabies and kennel cough) at approximately 12 weeks of age.
Does a dog/cat need to be vaccinated even if it is only at home and doesn’t go anywhere?
We require all dogs, cats and rabbits to have valid vaccinations. In addition, dogs must have an annual kennel cough vaccination and cats must have an annual cat flu vaccination.
What if there is no vaccination certificate?
If the vaccination card has been lost, the owner can request a vaccination certificate from the veterinary clinic via email; simply presenting it is sufficient.
Will an adult dog learn to be in a dog park when it has never been?
In such a case, we suggest a familiarization visit or a daycare visit, during which we will find out how the dog adapts to the conditions of the facility and to other dogs in the facility.
How should I start making a reservation?
Please see “Read this first” and “Terms of Agreement” under the Services tab on our website.
How do I make a reservation?
On your first visit, we would like a WhatsApp message with your name, desired time period, and your dog’s name, age, and breed. We will call you and ask for the necessary information to make a reservation.
How will communication take place in the future?
We hope to communicate via WhatsApp messages (no WhatsApp calls here). We always respond to messages.
What if a dog or cat gets sick?
We will inform the customer of the situation, if agreed. We will discuss the situation with the owner or, if necessary, ask the veterinarian for instructions and act accordingly.
How and when should the fee be paid?
The fee can be paid when bringing or picking up your dog or cat. Payment can be made by card (debit or credit) or cash.
Customer experience
Our cat Armi has been in day care twice at Mope and Miiru – or should I say on holiday. The care centre had modern and clean facilities that we were able to explore, the cat was given a stimulating “hotel room” with a window, and daily walks and playtime. How can I know this for sure when I was elsewhere? The entrepreneurs sent me pictures and videos of Armi’s activities during the care. This was a thoughtful gesture that warmed the pet owner’s heart and eased concerns about the cat’s well-being. Although my cat is a bit shy by nature, in the videos and after returning home from the care, he seemed relaxed and social – in other words, well-being and well-cared for.
Thanks to Airi and Hannu, they do their job with a professional approach and a big heart, and I can confidently leave our little purring family member in their care.
