Moppe ja Miiru Oy, later the care center, and the client commit to comply with the care agreement and these terms and conditions by signing the care agreement.

The client/person bringing the patient into care guarantees by signing the care agreement 
-that he/she is the pet’s owner, or otherwise has the legal right to hand over the pet for treatment,
-that he/she has provided correct and sufficient information about the pet for its safe care,
-that the pet is not suffering from any infectious disease known to the customer when brought for treatment, and that the pet does not have external parasites.

Animals with a cough, eye infection, diarrhea, or other contagious disease may not be brought for treatment, but the reservation will be canceled. The animal being treated must also not have external parasites.

If someone other than the person bringing the pet in is picking up the pet for care, the name of the person bringing the pet in must be stated when bringing the pet in for care. The person bringing the pet in must then prove their identity.

The customer presents the original vaccination certificate/pet passport issued by a veterinarian for vaccinations as recommended by the Finnish Food Authority: links to vaccinations for dogs, cats and rabbits. We also require dogs to have a valid kennel cough vaccine, which must be renewed every year.

DETERMINING THE CARE FEE The daily price in the price list is charged for each 24-hour period. The 1st period begins when the pet is brought in for care and ends after 24 hours. Hours beyond the last day of care 2.00/animal/hour. Note! high season + 10%.

Unless the exact import time has been announced one day in advance, the charge for the import day will begin at 8:00 AM.
Unless the exact pick-up time has been announced at least 2 hours before pick-up, the charge will end at 7:00 PM on the pick-up day.

CANCELLATION OF THE BOOKING FREE OF CHARGE at least 1 day before the start of the booking.
IF THE BOOKING IS CANCELLED LATER, OR IS LEFT COMPLETELY UNCANCELED, 50% of the price of the booked treatment period will be charged.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES/SURCHARGE   Possible additional services by agreement: e.g. mixing raw food, time-consuming medication, injections, convalescents/wound care, care for a running bitch, veterinary expenses/medicines. TRAVEL EXPENSES: km expenses + travel time 30.00/h.
If a fully grown and healthy dog ​​is not clean inside, an additional fee of 15.00/day for additional cleaning and washing of the platforms.

THE DAILY FEE INCLUDES FOR 1 DAY (24 hours):

D o g :  indoor cage and padding, water and food bowl, Jahti&Vahti dry food 1.50/time/dog, or feeding with food brought by the customer, fresh drinking water, outdoor walks with a leash 4 times a day or part of the day in an outdoor yard, daytime rest of approx. 4 hours, night rest of approx. 9-10 hours, possible medication given with food with medications brought by the customer, and normal basic cleanliness.

If your female dog is in heat during the treatment period, please mention this when making your reservation so that we can check if it is possible to take her in for treatment at that time. NOTE! Additional fee!

C a t :  own windowed indoor cage and padding, view of the bird feeder, fresh drinking water, wet and dry food from the clinic 1.50/time/cat, or feeding with food brought by the customer, cat toilet and micro sand for at least 2 nights, normal basic cleaning, possible medication given with food with medications brought by the customer. Any additional services will be charged separately. Male cats must be neutered.

R o d e n t:  a place for the cage, feeding according to the owner’s instructions, fresh drinking water, normal basic cleanliness, socialization and walking. The owner brings the rodent’s own supplies: cage, food, substrates (claws, mat, etc.) and a drinking bottle.

PAYMENT OF COSTS   Care and other possible costs must be paid no later than when the pet is picked up. Payment can be made by card or cash. The shelter is not obliged to release the pet if payment is not made. In such a case, the pet is considered to have been left unclaimed until payment has been made.

IF THE PET IS NOT PICKED UP at the agreed time and no extension of the care period has been agreed, the care facility has the right to act as if the pet were a found animal: it will be delivered to a found animal shelter 3 days after the end of the care period, in which case Section 15 of the Animal Welfare Act will come into force. The owner/keeper will be charged for the agreed care period and 3 additional days, as well as the costs of transferring the pet to the found animal shelter.

IF YOUR PET GETS SICK OR INJURED  during the treatment period, it will be guaranteed the necessary care and medication. If the situation allows, the clinic will first contact the customer. MAKING A REMARK Any remarks regarding your pet’s care must be made to the kennel by email at posti@moppejamiiru.fi or in writing, dated and signed, within two (2) days of the end of the care period.

RESOLUTION OF DISPUTES
If a dispute regarding a sales contract cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi). Before referring the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer must contact the local register office’s consumer advice service (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi).
