Pet daycare Moppe ja Miiru Oy is a family business founded on April 4, 2011.
We offer reliable and gentle full board for dogs and cats.
We also take in small pets, such as rabbits and guinea pigs.
We address each pet by name and treat them well, and we also take into account the personality of each dog and cat according to their individual characteristics.
Our operations are based on absolute honesty and responsibility with pets and their owners.
It is important to us to build a good and confidential customer relationship so that you can travel with peace of mind.
We also want to establish long-term customer relationships, because it is in the interest of our customers, and above all our pets – it is safe to come to a familiar place. As professionals, we take our responsibility, you can trust that.
We walk dogs on a leash individually or dogs from the same family together 4 times a day either in a spruce forest, on a dirt road or along the paths on our property. Walking outdoors with a pet is important quality time for each other, and we have the opportunity to observe the dog’s activity, mood and movement in peace. When we go outdoors, we relax and explore the smells of other dogs and bunnies, perhaps squirrels running from one spruce to another. Alternatively, the dogs can spend part of the day in the outdoor area.
If necessary, Joensuu has good veterinary services and experienced veterinarians. There is often also an emergency veterinary service in Joensuu.

Moppe ja Miiru Oy is run by Anita and Hannu Seppälä.
A childhood spent with animals in the countryside taught us from an early age to take care of animals responsibly and treat them well.
Since 1994, our family has had Bouvier breed dogs, with whom we practiced several service dog sports. After a few years without a dog, we now have a Chihuahua, Tico.
With our experience in dog sports and our professional qualification as a pet sitter, we are trained to see if everything is not well with the your pet. We also know how to adapt to changing situations.
Our previous professions: secretary, industrial salesperson.
